About Profess CEO Roundtable

Profess CEO Roundtable is an informal Discussion Group initiated by Profess Consulting Group with the objectives of improving networking and driving business growth. The Discussion Group would comprise top management personnel from our key clients, business associates & partners, and our internal leaders. At every group meeting, we would be inviting a thought-leader or a seasoned practitioner in a particular field to share his/her thoughts with the group.

The 1st Profess CEO Roundtable

The 1st CEO Roundtable was held in April 2014 and was attended by 15 business leaders. We were fortunate to have Dr Wilson Chew, a thought-leader on B-to-B branding. He is CEO of StrategiCom, a Singapore-based company with world-wide clients. A former McKinsey consultant, he touched on salient points from his book: Killer Differentiatiors – 13 Strategies to Grow Your Brand. He was awarded the Asia Brand Leadership Award in 2008 for his outstanding contribution to the applied knowledge of brand strategy in management science.

2nd Profess CEO Roundtable

For the 2nd Profess CEO Roundtable, we were honoured by Y. Bhg. Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Zamzamzairani, the MD/ Group CEO of TM Bhd. The topic chosen for the day – ”Transforming Your Organisation – Lessons Learnt From the TM Transformation Journey” . The audience was totally gripped by the sincere, right-from-the-heart sharing by the Tan Sri Zam (as he is fondly addressed). Among the points he impressed upon the audience, in carrying out a transformation process throughout an organisation were:

  1. The CEO must be the driver of transformation journey
  2. Engagement with all levels of staff
  3. The ‘management bench’ must walk the talk
  4. Everyone must be ‘singing the same tune’
  5. Share the bounty with your staff
